Our dear friend Rachel passed away peacefully on Thursday morning (June 15) at 10.30 am.
Though friends may go beyond our sight
onto a distant shore,
Warm memories of happy times
remain forever more.
May all the warm and special memories you shared with our dear Rachel, stay with you and bring you
comfort and a smile throughout the days ahead. The family will be having a memorial service for her in Bryn Athyn, PA, on September 3. Details to follow.

“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness into her place, where she is fed there for a time and times and half a time from the face of the serpent.” Revelation 12:14
When John was on the Isle of Patmos, his eyes were open to see a woman clothed with the sun who gave birth to a male child destined to “shepherd all nations.” The woman represents the coming New Church. The child is the heavenly doctrine or teaching that would nourish the human soul. Come join us to hear a New Church perspective on this profound chapter in the closing book of the New Testament.
“A woman arrayed with the sun,” signifies the church with those who are in love to the Lord, and thence in love towards the neighbor. This is evident from the signification of “woman,” as being the spiritual affection of truth, from which the church is a church, consequently also the church in respect to that affection. Apocalypse Explained 707.
New Church at Boynton Beach Annual Meeting Tomorrow
The annual general meeting of the New Church at Boynton Beach will be held on June 25 at 11:00 a.m. following the 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service. The meeting will take place at the church and via Zoom.
